After a 2 month stint travelling the South East of Asia at the beginning of 2013 Matt made the decision to not go back to his boring 9-5 job  and instead pursue a career in illustration. He has drawn as a hobby all of his life and wanted to take it to a professional level. Since starting out as a Freelance Illustrator, he has created artwork for magazines, TV production companies, websites, designers, musical artists and photographers. Matt has also designed wedding invites for brides to be and ventured into his own personal projects, such as the creation of his very own graphic novel which he’s releasing this year.
After 6 months of being a professional Freelance Illustrator, Matt has finally found a style that suits him and one that clients now ask for. Storyboards, portraits, character design and graphic novel art are all his speciality and now he can add t-shirt design to his portfolio too, with Screwface Clothing now taking him on as their Visual Artist. He’s just  collaborated with photographer Danny Baldwin in the design of a t-shirt that’s now available to buy.
