We got to see the first ever Fashions Finest London Collections: Mens last night at the Funky Buddha in Mayfair London. This is the first time they have strayed away from their normal location at the Connaught Rooms were they hold their very own off-schedule London Fashion Week, a new venture for them. They were raising funds for the Typhoon Appeal for the British Red Cross, the event was free and all guest were requested to make a small donation.
As far as clubs go we’re never too keen on how dare they are for taking photographs and capturing the clothes in the right lighting, however it seems the club had set up their lights in a runway theme. We managed to capture some footage of all the designers showcasing their work that night, some of their work so beautiful and lots of ideas about technological innovation too.

The favourite of the night was Michal Mrzyglod a polish designer, he used laser cut designs to show off his collection for mens. You could quite clearly see his Japanese twist on fashion, mixing traditional feminine prints with male styled designs, giving that California feel to the collection. The collection he showed is called ‘Chin-Suru’  which won second prize in the most prestigious fashion design contest in Poland – ‘The Golden Thread’. We could only describe the collection as innovative, avant-garde and just plain insanely cool, this designer understands how to make modern clothing that has a story.

The other designers that showcased that night were; House of Byfield, Junk de Luxe, Minimum, My Kind of Tie, Hot!MeSS and Beara Beara. Overall it seemed that the night went down a storm, their presenter for the night was their signature Antonio Castaldo who seemed to be very cheeky and playful during the night, he got some giggles. A few celebs their that night too such as; Tiger Lilly, Lewis-Duncan Weedon and Brick City (X Factor). Not forgetting the face of Fashion Finest was there, she seemed very quite the whole night, we can’t all be insanely confident in this crazy world we call fashion.
