Following a competition launched by The Great Retail Revival Foundation, online homeware retailer, Alison at Home, has been selected to showcase its products at House of Fraser. Alison at Home will trade from 12th to 26th May at POP at HOF, a pop up at House of Fraser’s flagship store on Oxford Street, as well as online at www.houseoffraser.co.uk.
Selected from nearly 200 of the UK’s most up and coming retailers, Alison at Home will be making its high street debut on Europe’s busiest shopping street. In addition to winning prime retail space at POP, Alison at Home will be mentored by retail experts from both House of Fraser and The Great Retail Revival Foundation.
Alison at Home designs and manufactures elegant, beautifully crafted furniture and accessories at unbeatable prices. The homeware brand has designed a range of products, each intended to work successfully as part of a set or individually as a statement piece. The majority of brand’s products are manufactured in Britain. The hallmark of Alison at Home is beautiful, quality furniture at affordable prices.
“This is an amazing opportunity to bring our much loved brand to the attention of a wider audience,” said Alison at Home founder, Alison Cork. “We are delighted to be working with giants such as The House of Fraser and The Great Retail Revival, and can’t wait to get out there.” Previously a home expert and interiors journalist, Alison founded her homeware company in 2012. “Everyone deserves to have a beautiful home, whatever their budget. I believe passionately in this and our range delivers on that promise.” she
commented, using largely British manufactures and fabrics, Alison has created several signature collections, including French, Boudoir, Modern Country, Heritage and Urban Elegance.
The POP at HOF competition host, The Great Retail Revival Foundation, is a not-for-profit organisation, founded by a group of passionate retail experts. The Foundation strives to give smaller retailers a platform from which they can better establish their brand. “The next objective for The Great Retail Revival Foundation is to mentor the 10 finalists, individually and collectively, between now and the launch on the 12th May,” says The Great Retail Revival Foundation Co-Founder, Keata Murray. “With the help of some carefully chosen partners, to ensure they are as ready as possible to take full advantage of their opportunity to trade in Britain’s leading department store, on one of the world’s busiest shopping streets.”
Of the ten winners selected to trade at POP, one will be given a one-year contract to open a concession with House of Fraser. Customers who make any purchase from POP at HOF will enjoy a complimentary glass of Champagne Taittinger.
